Phong Nha Coco House - Riverstay & Mountain View

We got very nice value for our money at Coco House Villa. The room was spacious, homely, and beautifully decorated with a clean and modern bathroom. The location was perfect, with amazing views of the river and a short walk to the town. The staff treated us like family, going above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing stay.

The breakfast could be improved with a larger variety of options.

We stayed at a riverside homestay with beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. The rooms were spotless and the beds were comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The owner was incredibly helpful and arranged everything from tours to transfers. The restaurant overlooked the river, providing a stunning backdrop while enjoying delicious food. The location was convenient, with easy access to the town and river boat departures. it was a simple and great experience, with the added bonus of a free transfer to the bus.

stayed at a homestay in phong nha before, but coco house villa exceeded expectations. friendly staff, breathtaking views, and helpful with scooter rentals. highly recommend to budget travelers.

The hotel is in a convenient location, just a short 10-minute walk to the boat station for the Phong Nha cave tour. the rooms are spacious and homely, with nice decorative touches and clean bathrooms. the staff is very kind and helpful, with fluent English spoken by Linh, who provided assistance with buying bus tickets and giving recommendations. the view from the common area is amazing, overlooking the river. Guests can enjoy delicious food at the hotel's restaurant, including fried rice with veggies and sauteed eggplant.

There were occasions when there weren't any staff present in the later afternoon and evening, leaving the premises feeling deserted.

We had a fantastic 2-day caving trip and the Coco House Villa was the perfect place to come back to. The room was clean, quiet, and had all the amenities we needed. The hotel even did our laundry for us, which was a great convenience. They also offered a transfer to the train station at a lower price than other options. The location, right by the river, provided a beautiful view of the mist-covered mountains. a great place to stay!

The hotel offered a stunning riverfront terrace that was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful view. The location was also convenient, with a short and pleasant stroll into town. the food at the restaurant was excellent, with delicious and generous portions.

The lack of soundproofing in the family room, as we could hear dogs barking at night and traffic noise in the morning. The air conditioner blowing directly onto the main bed was also not ideal, and the shower's water pressure was low, making it difficult to wash long hair.

The view of the river was spectacular, especially when enjoying a cold drink or having a meal. The owners were incredibly helpful and accommodating, going out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. They even let us check out late and gave us a ride to the bus stop during a thunderstorm. The location was peaceful and away from the bustling main road, which added to the tranquil atmosphere. We also appreciated the fast and stable internet connection.

I wish I had stayed longer at this hotel to fully enjoy all it had to offer. The peaceful location, friendly staff, and delicious home-cooked food made it a truly enjoyable experience.

All was perfect.

The views from the hotel were absolutely stunning, especially from the balcony overlooking the river. It was so relaxing to sit there and watch the boats passing by. the food at the hotel was also excellent, some of the best we had during our trip in Vietnam. the lemongrass chicken dish was particularly delicious. Another advantage of this hotel was its location, about 1km outside the city center. This meant that there wasn't too much noise, allowing for a peaceful night's sleep.

One aspect that was a bit bothersome was the noise from the local church. At around 4:15am, there was a bell ringing followed by loud recorded singing for about 15 minutes.
